There has been a large die-off of honey bees in the last year, and no one can explain why. This is of great concern, not only for those who harvest (and eat) honey, but also for farmers who depend on them to pollenate their various agricultural plants. None-the-less, I caught this little fellow out doing what bees do, and he seems to be looking at me and perhaps thinking, "What are you lookin at?". [Click on my pictures for larger versions.]

Actually I think it was my 18-135mm.
Uncle Richard, I see your hobby of photography is better than ever. I like the way the background is blurred so the focus is really on the bee.
