It's been many years since I actually hiked anywhere in Yellowstone and now with my bum leg, I probably never will. I can live vicariously through your photos though. The sky in the first photo looks a little ominous. Did it produce rain or hail?

Colett, you have such fun blogs, and I just got through looking at your latest version..I love being connected to family like this! I don't have the expertise on creating my blog though..I need to spend some time with Matt or you!

Joan, the storm went a little north of our location and it rained just a little, but I thought the dark sky and hanging rain was very, well, ominous looking!

I have always loved photography, and seeing your pictures really makes me want to dig my camera out and start playing again. You have a great eye for things that are beautiful. Now where did I put that camera bag...

Shon, thanks for the kind words. The photography thing must run in the family. My son, Ron, could buy a late model car for what he has invested in camera equipment! Your mom, your Aunt Margaret and both of your sisters are very good at photo journalism (blogs!), so I'm sure you would be too..dig out that camera and have at it!
